Burton Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Cedar Flat is a beautiful spot any time of year. Near Dollar Reservoir you discover the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14 which is a great hiking trail, and there's whitewater on Truckee River for all you thrill seekers. Dollar Reservoir is a good place of common rain; most of the snow falls all through January, and July is when       it's the driest. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You can run the rapids of Truckee River close to Dollar Reservoir. During the long summer days highs here at Dollar Reservoir get into the 80's, and the night is a tad colder of course, frequently in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Dollar Reservoir through the wintertime generally dip into the 10's.                  While you're here at Dollar Reservoir you can play some golf at Old Brockway Golf Course, and unsurprisingly, this is a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes, Watson Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Dollar Reservoir. Camping is available at Lake Forest Boat Ramp and Camp, and dry warm beds await you at Pepper Tree Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the General Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure; Atagam Beach is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. Why not camp at Sandy Beach Campground if you're here at Dollar Reservoir, and Northstar at Tahoe has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Carnelian Bay is not far from Dollar Reservoir at all; if you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn Tahoe City/Lake Tahoe is a perfect choice. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is bountiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike on the Granite Chief Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Homewood in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Lake Tahoe, and if you want to hit the beach, Patton Beach is in the neighborhood.
