Homewood is a glorious local ski area, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Forest Boat Ramp and Camp is a delightful spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little trip to Burton Creek while you're here at Dollar Reservoir; do visit Lake Tahoe, it's a gorgeous lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dollar Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Dollar Reservoir dipping down into the 10's | |

Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14; a pleasant nearby hotel is Pepper Tree Inn. Dollar Reservoir gets a common amount of annual rainfall; through
January this area sees the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
A pleasant visit to Cedar Flat is a great way to spend an afternoon, and get soaked paddling on Truckee River. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are
truly bountiful here at Dollar Reservoir. There's brilliant hiking along the Granite Chief Trail; Patton Beach is a beach close by that you can check out. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Northern
Sierra Nevada has to offer. Soar down the rapids of Truckee River in a kayak, and delightful hiking is available along the General Creek Trail.
