This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Chinquapin Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dogwood Lake has to offer, you can camp at Spring Flat Campground. Dogwood Lake is in a tremendous location in the shadow of the Marble Mountains. There's so much to do here at Dogwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Scotty Campground is a glorious place for that. This spot is peerless, just explore all the cool stuff to do close

Dogwood Lake is a wet site that gets a large amount of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Gulch Trail is a brilliant local trail, and Dogwood Lake is not the only spot nearby, Buckhorn Lake is a nearby lake. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Klamath Mountains. The top of Boulder
Peak is easily spotted from Dogwood Lake, and there are some great whitewater spots on Salmon River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. That right there is a load of cool things already but it
goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. Do set aside some time for Muse Meadow since you're here at Dogwood Lake; there's nice hiking along the Tanners Peak Trail.
