If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Dog Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Tenaya Creek is a perfect whitewater spot in close proximity to Dog Lake, and after a long day outdoors Yosemite Gateway Motel is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. | | in the 80's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 30's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's while Dog Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.

This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always a great adventure, and there are splendid locations to look at along the John Muir Trail - section
1. This place, Dog Lake, it completely has so much outdoors cool stuff. There's so much to do here at Dog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tioga Campground is a good spot for that; since you're here at Dog Lake it's a
great idea to go to Moraine Flat.
All year is a perfect time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you fancy the outdoors. Lembert Dome is a peak you can catch a sight of from Dog Lake; what would winter be without some skiing at June Mountain. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
