Granite Lake is a brilliant lake near Doe Lake; unsurprisingly, all our national parks are delightful locations to check out and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is no exception. The amount of precipitation that falls at Doe Lake is close to the national average; during December this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp       Goldfish Campground is a fine spot to do that, and a charming lake like Telephone Lake is a delightful place to stop by. A great spot like Doe Flat here at Doe Lake is too great to miss, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Deacon Lee Trail. The peak of Eagle Peak can be observed from Doe Lake, and camping at Goldfield Campground is always a magnificent experience. Doe Lake is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains. A nice place for whitewater paddling close to Doe Lake is Coffee Creek; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trinity River. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 90's at Doe Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Doe Lake.
