Doe Lake is always a pleasure to visit. All our national parks are magnificent sites to visit, and Devils Postpile National Monument is no exception. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Doe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Second Falls Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place like Deer Meadow here at Doe Lake is too pleasant to miss. Doe Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.

Cataract Creek is in the neighborhood of Doe Lake and is always a joy to take a look at; Bishop-Days Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. Doe Lake is mostly a rather dry location; the month with most of the rain is January, and June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. River - Middle Fork.
If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kings River Trail. There's so much to do here at Doe Lake that you
need to camp here for a while, First Falls Campground is a delightful location for that. Take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11, and you'll stumble on a lovely lake called Amphitheater Lake. High temperatures at Doe Lake
through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows through the wintertime for Doe Lake tend to be in the 20's.
This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Doe Lake; John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section is a tremendous local trail; on a delightful day you obtain a brilliant view of Observation Peak from Doe Lake.
