The landscape around Dobkins Lake is dominated by the Trinity Mountains; there are some great whitewater spots on Sacramento River. Not much rainfall falls here at Dobkins Lake; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. If you come at the right time of year, Sacramento River offers some wonderful whitewater It's always fine to take a look at The Eddys. Very lovely scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Mount

| | Shasta. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dobkins Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gumboat Campground. And that's not all you can do here at Dobkins Lake. Near Dobkins Lake you discover a golf course called Weed Golf Club, and do visit Durney Lake, it's a delightful lake. Here at Dobkins Lake you can catch a sight of Mount Eddy, and Dale Meadows is a good spot. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Dobkins Lake has it all. | |

On a splendid day at Dobkins Lake you can take a hike along the Echo Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Central is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and the Castle Lake Trail is a good hiking trail close by.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dobkins Lake you can take a hike along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites Weed is a brilliant site to spend a night or two.
There's so much to do here at Dobkins Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trailer Lane RV Park is a pleasant place for that, and Little Crater Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. For the period of the long summer
days at Dobkins Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows through the wintertime for Dobkins Lake tend to be in the 20's.
