There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Near Division Lake you discover the Don Cecil Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and Kings River - Middle Fork is a splendid whitewater spot close by. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of Division Lake. From Division Lake you obtain a good view of Mount Reinstein, and if you're       looking for a wonderful spree, Devils Postpile National Monument is relatively near. The amount of rain that falls at Division Lake is close to the national average; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. So much fun stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Why not camp at North Lake Campground if you're here at Division Lake, and there are glorious locations to look                  at along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Division Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows at Division Lake through the winter usually fall into the 20's.
