Voyager Rock Campground is a fine campground here, and a lake close by is Arctic Lake. Having a glorious time in the Central Sierra Nevada is painless. Disappointment Lake is a good location of normal rainfall; through January this area sees the most rain while July is typically the driest month. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. You just can't envision the       amount of outdoors exciting things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Lower Blayney Campground is a delightful site to camp; Bench Valley is another wonderful location to stop by close by. Summertime highs at Disappointment Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Disappointment                  Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. San Joaquin River - South Fork has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by, and the top of Mount Hutton is easily spotted from Disappointment Lake. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Disappointment Lake. A short tour to Cold Springs is always worthwhile; paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork is so much fun.
