A lake nearby is Drift Fence Reservoir, and why not camp at Prison Spring Campground since you're here at Dillion Lake. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Southern Cascade Range. You could also visit Clay Flat Reservoir while you're here at Dillion Lake; it's close by, and camping is available at Ash Creek Campground. A fine spot like Silva Flat here at Dillion Lake is too magnificent       to miss, and the top of Summers Hill is easily distinguished from Dillion Lake. It is very arid here at Dillion Lake commonly; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. A great nearby hotel is Hotel Mt. Lassen. For the period of the summer months highs here at Dillion Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge                  down into the 40's.
