This a verry nice campground from big rvs to tent camping showers are closed because some one tore them out. Small lake but big enough for limited water sports good fishing n local streams and owens river.

Diaz Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Sierra Nevada. Diaz Creek is a good place to stop at, and going for a hike on the Pat Keyes Trail is always a great adventure. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too pleasant to be true. Stay the night at Diaz Lake Campground.

| | January; the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at MT Whitney Golf Course, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Whitney Trail. Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Indian Spring is always fun to check out, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two.

Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Diaz Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. That right there
is loads already, but it carries on; Diaz Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Diaz Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Locust Grove Campground is a perfect place for that, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western
Frontier Motel. The views at Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park will blow your mind; if you're visiting from Bishop, you won't be the only one.
