If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Diamond Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. A journey to Lassen Volcanic National Park is worthwhile, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Mill Creek. On a great day at Diamond Lake you can take a hike along the Murphy Trail, and everybody loves Belfast Meadows. This location, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors enjoyable

If the weather is good here at Diamond Lake, you can go for a hike along the Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deer Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. typically dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Bailey Creek Cottages is a delightful choice. Diamond Lake in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. A journey to nearby Monterey
Point is very relaxing, and not far from Diamond Lake you'll locate Pear Lake which is a charming lake. Camping at Bear Wallow Campground is always a wonderful experience, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Growler
Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Diamond Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Mill Creek Resort is a nice local campground, and Lyons Peak is wonderful and can be observed from here.
