Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Klamath Mountains. There are splendid places to look at along the Tanners Peak Trail; dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka. This lake is so wonderful. If you desire a little side journey, try Devils Canyon, and whitewater paddling is fine on Salmon River - North Fork. Diamond Lake is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains. High temperatures at Diamond Lake through the summertime are

| | in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Diamond Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River - South Fork, and don't leave Diamond Lake without first going for a hike along the Deacon Lee Trail. a good site to camp nearby. All year is a great time in the Klamath Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. If the weather is lovely, you get a delightful sight of English Peak from Diamond Lake; going for a hike on
the Garden Gulch Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Diamond Lake. Little Hancock Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; Little
North Fork Campground is a magnificent local campground. Diamond Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with a large amount of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest.
