There's so much to do here at Dewell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hammerhorn Campground is a delightful site for that; a nice site for whitewater paddling is Black Butte River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. An average amount of precipitation falls at Dewell Lake; during January this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the       least amount of precipitation. You truly should fancy the Klamath Mountains. On a good day at Dewell Lake you can take a hike along the Wrights Ridge Trail, and Dewell Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Little Doe Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Lily Lake is around here. There is a glorious hiking trail in the vicinity of Dewell Lake called the Smoke Howe Trail, and Grass Lake is a magnificent                  lake close by. Be careful coming to Dewell Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Airplane Meadow is a scenic place any time of year; Alder Creek is close to Dewell Lake and is always a delight to stop by. Bell Spring is always fun to check out, and Eel River - Middle Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Dewell Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Dewell Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
