Dewell Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Grass Lake is in the neighborhood of Dewell Lake; the Smoke Howe Trail offers hiking at its best. The yearly rainfall here at Dewell Lake is about average; through the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       Through the summertime here at Dewell Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Dewell Lake. Be careful coming to the Klamath Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Bell Spring is a magnificent local attraction. There's so much to do here at Dewell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hammerhorn Campground is a good                  location for that. You could also pop by Lily Lake if you're here at Dewell Lake; it's close by, and there's magnificent hiking along the Wrights Ridge Trail. So many cool things close to Dewell Lake, absolutely tremendous. Alder Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth visiting, and fine hiking is available along the Wrights Valley Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black Butte River; Dewell Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Little Doe Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Eel River - Middle Fork. Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a glorious time.
