If you need a location to stay Chalet View Lodge is a perfect choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Feather River - Middle Fork. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Devils Punchbowl. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Devils Punchbowl has to offer, you can camp at Big Cove - Plumas National Forest, and if you're here you       can take a hike along the Eureka Lake Trail. For the period of the long summer days at Devils Punchbowl temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Devils Punchbowl descend into the 20's. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada.                  From Devils Punchbowl you acquire a nice panorama of Grizzly Peak. Devils Punchbowl gets a typical amount of yearly rain; through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month of the year is July.
