All the outdoors entertaining things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly. Red Mountain Basin is a great place, and a day on the slopes of Sierra Summit is just what you need. Paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork is so much fun; Devils Punchbowl is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Lower Blayney Campground is a wonderful local campground. Through the       months of summer highs here at Devils Punchbowl get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Devils Punchbowl. Camping at Voyager Rock Campground is always a nice experience, and Big Shot Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Devils Punchbowl. This lake is so wonderful.                  Whitewater paddling is delightful on San Joaquin River - South Fork, and Cold Springs is an inspiring place to stop by during your stay. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
