This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are tremendous; Bear River Reservoir is a lake that's near Devils Lake, and Devils Lake is right by the Hawley Grade Trail. Mokelumne River - North Fork has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and do check out Tragedy Creek if you're here at Devils Lake. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada rocks! While you're       here at Devils Lake it's a brilliant idea to have a look at Onion Valley, and a journey to Ham Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be. All the water falling down from the sky makes Devils Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Since                  you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Mud Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Devils Lake; Emigrant Trail is a pleasant local trail. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Really good skiing awaits you at Bear Valley, and dry warm beds await you at Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do near Devils Lake. Kirkwood has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and paddling on American River - South Fork is so much fun. Devils Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Shriner Lake Campground is a good local campground, and Pine Cone Acre Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Devils Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Devils Lake are in the 10's.
