If you are traveling by, why not stop by Devils Lake. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is so good! Stay the night at Shot Rock Vista Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Kirkwood. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. The high level of precipitation makes Devils Lake a relatively wet spot; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more cool things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get yourself into a kayak and hit American River - South Fork. for a while, Shriner Lake Campground is a magnificent place for that. Onion Valley is a fine spot to stretch your legs a bit, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Windmiller Trail. Through the long summer days
at Devils Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's; overnight lows at Devils Lake throughout the winter mostly dip into the
10's. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. Get soaked paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork; hey, Gotta ski right? Bear Valley is a wonderful spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful.
Bear River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by; do take a hike on the Emigrant Trail. Ham Spring is an inspiring place to explore while you're here; if you need a site to stay Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a splendid
choice. Dry warm beds await you at Pine Cone Acre Motel, and if you get bored of Devils Lake you could also stop by close by Shealor Lakes.
