Many people like to go to Devils Lake. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. So many cool things to do at Devils Lake, so little time. Camping at Devils Lake is nice fun, Shriner Lake Campground is a nice local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Best Tahoe West Inn. For the period of the long summer days at Devils Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are

| | in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Devils Lake. Bear Valley is a very popular ski area nearby, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Tragedy Creek. Don't leave Devils Lake without first going for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of American River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. and after a long day outdoors Pine Cone Acre Motel is a good site to spend a night or two. The high level of rain makes Devils Lake a reasonably wet spot; most of the snow falls throughout January, and July meanwhile is the driest
month. Having a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is easy. Why not camp at Shot Rock Vista Campground since you're here at Devils Lake; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Kirkwood. This lake is so
wonderful. Going for a hike on the Emigrant Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and there's whitewater on Mokelumne River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining
things the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. Onion Valley is a stunning place any time of year; you can go for a hike on the Windmiller Trail.
