     A good deal of rainfall falls at Devils Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. While you're here at Devils Lake, you could also go to pretty Bear River Reservoir; why not head up to Kirkwood and strap some skis to your feet. But wait, there's more to do near Devils Lake.
High temperatures at Devils Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Once the
 
   sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Devils Lake are in the 10's. This spot, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting things. Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - South Fork. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in  
               the Northern Sierra Nevada. It's always splendid to explore Ham Spring, and nearby you discover the Emigrant Trail which is a good hiking trail.
This place, Devils Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. A delightful place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Devils Lake is Mokelumne River - North Fork; Bear Valley is a very popular ski area nearby. Devils Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do here at Devils Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shriner Lake Campground is a glorious place for that, and Tragedy Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit.
Going for a hike on the Windmiller Trail is always a good adventure, and The Meadow is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Meadowstone, and you can go for a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Devils Lake it's a perfect idea to visit Onion Valley. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Devils Lake has to offer, you can camp at Shot Rock Vista Campground.
