After a long day outdoors Pine Cone Acre Motel is a great place to spend a night or two, needless to say you could also explore Summit Meadow Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. For the period of the summertime at Devils Hole Lake highs are regularly in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally       in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Devils Hole Lake throughout the winter generally dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Mokelumne River - North Fork is a fine whitewater spot in the vicinity of Devils Hole Lake; there's fine hiking along the Charity Valley Trail. So much fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just unbelievable. You ought to positively dedicate some time to Ladeux Meadow while you're here at Devils Hole Lake, and if you came                  for an overnight stay Ferguson Point Campground is a brilliant location to camp. Devils Hole Lake is a rather wet place frequently with a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Devils Hole Lake. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Horse Thief Spring, and skiing at Bear Valley is one of those things you just have to do. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Devils Hole Lake. Don't leave Devils Hole Lake without first going for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail; if you've had enough of Devils Hole Lake, Scout Carson Lake is nearby. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are tremendous spots to explore along the Emigrant Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Kirkwood since you're here. Plasse's Resort is a nice campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley. Devils Hole Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
