A splendid spot to camp here at Devils Gate Reservoir is Tom Sawyer Camps, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Condor Peak Riding and hiking Trail. Take a hike on the Idlehour Trail.       Lakes? Sure, Eagle Rock Reservoir is in close proximity. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Why not camp at High Country Camping while you're here at Devils Gate Reservoir; dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town. The vista of Flint Peak from Devils Gate Reservoir is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Mt Waterman; if you need a site to stay The Westin Pasadena is a                  great choice. Throughout the long summer days at Devils Gate Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 90's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 60's, and night lows in the 40's for Devils Gate Reservoir.
