High temperatures at Detert Reservoir all through the months of summer are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Detert Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Putah Creek in       a kayak, and Lake Bordeaux is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Calistoga Ranch is a tremendous location to get some rest, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Napa here. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in close proximity to Detert Reservoir. A pleasant place to camp here at Detert Reservoir is Hidden Valley Lake Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Cache Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.                  Have a good hiking adventure along the Cadd Fire Trail. Enjoy a round of golf at Aetna Springs Golf Course not far from Detert Reservoir, and hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail is delightful fun. Detert Reservoir is a wet site that gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that rains the most; July meanwhile is the driest month.
