Depressed Lake is a location that is quite dried up usually; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is June. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near Depressed Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Infant Buttes can be observed from Depressed Lake, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too wonderful

Man, is there lots of exciting things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. If the weather is good here at Depressed Lake, you can go for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Jackass's Meadows Campground is a great spot to camp. probably interested in lakes, Marcella Lake is one of those close by, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sierra Summit. Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada is a wonderful site to get some rest, and if you've
had enough of Depressed Lake, Cirque Lake is close by. All through the warm days of summer at Depressed Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Daytime
highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's while Depressed Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. The Red Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Depressed Lake, and the snow is tremendous at Mammoth Mountain.
