Depot Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Depot Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Oak Stumpy Meadows - Eldorado National Forest is a great place for that, and whitewater paddling is fine on American River - South Fork. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. All through the summertime, highs generally are in the 90's at Depot

| | Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Depot Lake dip into the 30's.

to spend a night or two; there's wonderful hiking along the Nevada Point Trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Here at Depot Lake you can catch a glimpse of Sacramento
Hill; if you're here at Depot Lake it's a perfect idea to go to Coon Hollow.
Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do in close proximity to Depot Lake. Get wet paddling on Cosumnes River - Middle Fork, and a brilliant nearby hotel
is Best Western Placerville Inn. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A wonderful lake like Patterson Lake close to Depot Lake is a pleasant spot to take a look at, and Depot Lake
is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Gerle Creek - Eldorado National Forest is a nice local campground.
