Del Rey Lagoon is ordinarily a rather dry location; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do close to       Del Rey Lagoon. Nearby lakes? Sure, Ballona Lagoon is near Del Rey Lagoon; Inn at Playa del Rey is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by Santa Monica Bay also since you're here; Mt Waterman has good slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a splendid swamp; Ballona Wetlands is right here at Del Rey Lagoon, and why not take a look at nearby Ballona Creek while you're here at Del Rey Lagoon.                  A golf course near Del Rey Lagoon is Westchester Golf Course & Driving Range, and after a long day outdoors Oakwood Marina Del Rey is a great location to spend a night or two. If you're looking for a beach close to Del Rey Lagoon, we recommend Venice Beach; do pop by Basin A while you're here.
