If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Del Monte Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Little Sur River in a kayak, and a brilliant close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Monterey. Del Monte Lake is located in the Santa Lucia Range. During the warm days of summer at Del Monte Lake highs are typically in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Del

do in the Santa Lucia Range. On a delightful day at Del Monte Lake you can take a hike along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail, and a golf course nearby is Del Monte Golf Course.
Del Monte Lake is a good place of common rainfall; of
all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and August is when it's the driest. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Santa Lucia Range. Del Monte Lake is glorious
enough to spend more than a day at, Cypress Tree Inn Of Monterey is a glorious local campground, obviously you could also take a look at Roberts Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike
along the Soberanes Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; lots of folks from Salinas come here.
And that's not all you can do here at Del Monte Lake. Monterey Harbor is pretty and it's in the vicinity
of Del Monte Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Carmel River offers some fine whitewater. A good beach close to Del Monte Lake is San Carlos Beach.
