    What a nice lake Deer Lakes is. Deer Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. At Deer Lakes all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Deer Lakes fall into the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Deer Lakes without first going for a hike along the Mammoth
 
   Rock Trail. There's so much to do here at Deer Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Water Campground is a nice site for that. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Arrowhead Lake, and Juniper Springs Resort is a good place to get some rest. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. San Joaquin River - South Fork has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a day on the slopes of June Mountain is just what  
               you need.
Good hiking is available along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and Devils Postpile National Monument is a very tremendous place to go to. This place is peerless, just look at all the amusing things to do right next door to Deer Lakes. Deer Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Reds Meadow Campground is a great local campground; why not head up to Mammoth Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. You ought to undeniably dedicate some time to Sky Meadows if you're here at Deer Lakes, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mono Creek.
Having a tremendous time in the Central Sierra Nevada is easy.
