If you are traveling by, why not stop by Deer Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Chalet View Lodge is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Berger Campground if you're here at Deer Lake; you'll come across a pretty lake called Deer Lake. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Deer Lake. If you need a spot to stay Chalet View Lodge is a glorious choice; camping is available

| | at Packsaddle Campground.
Hit the slopes at Royal Gorge around here, and a great spot close by is Packer Lake Saddle. Deer Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; January is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Soar down the rapids of Yuba River - North Fork in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Butcher Ranch Trail is always a tremendous adventure.

Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. The Deer Lake Trail is a perfect hiking trail near Deer Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Lavezzola Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Near
Deer Lake you hit upon the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15 which is a great hiking trail; Deer Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out.
Summertime highs at Deer Lake usually tend to be in the 90's, and all through the night
it cools down to the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Deer Lake.
