Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Deer Lake is great! After a long day outdoors Chalet View Lodge is a fine place to spend a night or two, and the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15 is a great hiking trail nearby. Throughout the warm months highs here at Deer Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows through the wintertime for       Deer Lake tend to be in the 20's. If you came to camp Berger Campground is a splendid spot to do that, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Deer Lake Trail. This site, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors fun things. Soar down the rapids of Lavezzola Creek in a kayak; you'll hit upon a wonderful lake called Grass Lake. Packer Lake Saddle is a glorious place to have a look at near Deer Lake; paddling on Yuba River - North Fork is so                  much fun. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Dry warm beds await you at Deer Creek Inn; you don’t have to go far from Deer Lake to see the water at Deer Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Deer Lake near Deer Lake is a great place to visit. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Packsaddle Campground is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Royal Gorge are so inviting noone can resist, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Butcher Ranch Trail. Deer Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
