Beautiful Deer Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Butcher Ranch Trail; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - North Fork. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Deer Lake, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Deer Lake.

| | Lake you come across Packer Lake Saddle which is a delightful site to check out; Packsaddle Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There are magnificent places to discover along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15, and if you need a spot to stay Deer Creek Inn is a brilliant choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada.

the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Deer Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Gold Lake is close to Deer Lake, and
dry warm beds await you at Chalet View Lodge. Berger Campground is a good campground nearby, obviously you could also explore Little Gold Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
These mountains rock, just check out all the
amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Deer Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's near Deer Lake, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Lavezzola Creek. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just
come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Deer Lake Trail is always a great adventure; why not head up to Royal Gorge and strap some skis to your feet.
