If you are traveling by, why not stop by Deer Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Deer Lake if you're here at Deer Lake; it's close by. All through the summertime at Deer Lake highs are frequently in the 90's with overnight lows in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Deer Lake are in the 20's. Deer Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.

| | Chalet View Lodge is a splendid spot to spend a night or two; great hiking is available along the Deer Lake Trail. You can take a little journey to Deer Lake Dam while you're here at Deer Lake, and the Butcher Ranch Trail offers hiking at its best. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's great hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15, and Packer Lake Saddle is also a tremendous place to explore.

Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Deer Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Deer Creek Inn; camping at Deer Lake is glorious fun, Packsaddle Campground is a glorious local campground. From
a rainfall point of view Deer Lake is a rather normal place; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just
come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get wet paddling on Lavezzola Creek; skiing at Royal Gorge is one of those things you just must do.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Yuba River - North Fork is so much fun, and Deer Lake is a great place to camp, Berger Campground is a great place.
