The amount of rainfall that falls at Deer Lake is close to the national average; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. After a long day outdoors Ambrose Bierce House is a good spot to spend a night or two; don’t forget to pop by Walnut Flat if you're here at Deer Lake. Not far       from Deer Lake, you'll stumble on Fawn Lake which is a stunning lake, and Putah Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Deer Lake, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Deer Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Napa come to Deer Lake, and a magnificent                  sight of picturesque The Beehive is available. Golf can be played at Aetna Springs Golf Course, and camping is available at Bothe Napa Valley State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail; Bell Canyon is a nice place to stop by. This place, Deer Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors exciting stuff.
