What a nice lake Deer Creek Reservoir is. The high level of rain makes Deer Creek Reservoir a rather wet place; all through January this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Scotts Flat Lake is always a glorious experience, and do explore Willow Valley Creek since you're here at Deer Creek Reservoir. Yeah, come up here to the Northern

| | Sierra Nevada for a magnificent time. Go for a hike on the Humbug Trail, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Truckee-Grass Valley for sure. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Deer Creek Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Scotts Flat Reservoir is around here, and at Deer Creek Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Banner Mountain.

wet paddling on Yuba River - South Fork, and golf can be played at Nevada County Country Club. If you need a spot to stay Piety Hill Cottages is a delightful choice, and Lava Cap Reservoir is a great lake nearby. Dry warm beds await
you at Nevada City Inn, and going for a hike on the South Yuba Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Lafayette Ridge Trail; if you came to camp Scott-Flat Campground
is a good location to do that. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Deer Creek Reservoir get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Deer Creek Reservoir all through the wintertime commonly drop into the 20's.
