A quick trip to Deer Creek close to Dean Valley Reservoir is a great idea, and do go to Snake Lake, it's a stunning lake. While you're here at Dean Valley Reservoir, you could also go to wonderful Smith Lake, and whitewater paddling is good on Feather River - Middle Fork. Dean       Valley Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Deanes Valley is a striking site any time of year, and there are magnificent spots to look at along the Finger Board Trail. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Cleghorn Bar Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and if you came to camp Cleghorn Bar Campground is a perfect location to do that.                  At Dean Valley Reservoir throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Dean Valley Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Camping at River Ranch RV Park is always a delightful experience; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Claremont Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dean Valley Reservoir gets a typical amount of rain; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is when it's the driest. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Dean Valley Reservoir.
