    It's always fun to stop by Deadwood Lake. Just can't get enough of Deadwood Lake. Best Tahoe West Inn is a perfect location to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Grouse Lake is in the neighborhood. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
Summertime highs at Deadwood Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and after
 
   the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Deadwood Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. On a pretty day you acquire a sight of Deadwood Peak from Deadwood Lake, and do take a hike on the Emigrant Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Deadwood Lake. Everybody close by loves skiing at Bear Valley, and hiking along the Charity Valley Trail is nice fun.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at
 
               Deadwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Damsite Campground is a magnificent place for that, and paddling on Carson River - East Fork is so much fun. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Meadow Creek is a brilliant location to pop by; a splendid close by hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Deadwood Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Blue Lake Campground; you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Burnside Lake Trail.
The skiing at Kirkwood is great, and close by Deadwood Canyon is a fine place to go. So many exciting things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just mind-blowing. The smiling people of Gardnerville Ranchos like to hang out nearby, and Mokelumne River - North Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. The high level of precipitation makes Deadwood Lake a relatively wet place; during January this area sees the most snow; the driest of the months is July.
