Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Deadwood Lake; the night is quite cooler of course, typically in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Deadwood Lake. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is so good! Take a little tour to Meadow Creek while you're here at Deadwood Lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Meadow. Don't leave Deadwood Lake without first going for a hike

| | along the Charity Valley Trail, and why not camp at Damsite Campground if you're here at Deadwood Lake. Good hiking is available along the Burnside Lake Trail, and unsurprisingly, A visit to Deadwood Canyon is always fun. Deadwood Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. for outdoors people. Whitewater paddling is great on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and at Deadwood Lake you can see Deadwood Peak. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Kirkwood is just what you need; a picturesque lake
like Meadow Lake is a perfect location to stop at. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. Paddling on Carson River - East Fork is so much fun, and you'll find a lovely
lake called Grouse Lake. After a long day outdoors The Mountain Club is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and a splendid site to camp here at Deadwood Lake is Upper Blue Lake Campground. A good deal of precipitation falls
at Deadwood Lake; all through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Emigrant Trail, and the skiing at Bear Valley is delightful.
