What a nice lake Deadman Lake is. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too brilliant to be true. From Deadman Lake you acquire a fine sight of Leavitt Peak. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork, and you can go for a hike on the Silver King Trail. Deadman Campground is a fine place to do that; there's brilliant hiking along the Corral Valley Trail. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always
have a look at close by Blue Canyon Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Dodge Ridge. It is very dried up here at Deadman Lake frequently; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
