If you are traveling by, why not stop by Dead Rabbit. Just can't get enough of Dead Rabbit. Near Dead Rabbit you stumble on China Gulch which is a great site to check out, and Hatch Flat is a striking site any time of year. Dead Rabbit is a good place of normal precipitation; during January this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains.

This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. If the weather is pleasant here at Dead Rabbit, you
can go for a hike along the Ides Cove National Recreation Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dead Rabbit has to offer, you can camp at Whitlock Campground. Dead Rabbit is a splendid place to visit for more than
one day, Mud Flat Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Thomes Creek.
High temperatures at Dead Rabbit through the summertime are in the 90's;
throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Dead Rabbit.
