If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Dead Lake. Dead Lake typically gets a good deal of rainfall; during the month of December you get the most rain around here; the driest month is July. Take a hike on the French Hill Trail, and after a long day outdoors Crescent City Travelodge is a delightful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the beach if you want, Pebble Beach is practically right here, and The Redwood

Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. A spree to Redwood National and State Parks is recommended; get yourself into a kayak and hit Smith River - South Fork. beautiful. There's some flowing water close by, Marhoffer Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here, and Lake Earl is a good lake close by. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Dead Lake is right
by the Paradise Trail; Econo Lodge Crescent City is a delightful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You should go to Point Saint George when you're here at Dead Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Smith
River - North Fork offers some great whitewater. This place, Dead Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you came for an overnight stay Bayside RV Park is a glorious site to camp; a round of golf at nearby Kings Valley Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time.
