Dead Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. All the outdoors amusing things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back many times. Point Saint George is quite in the vicinity of Dead Lake, and why not take a little visit to Marhoffer Creek since you're here. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a nice time. If you're looking for a beach right next door to Dead Lake, we recommend Kellogg Road Beach, and Smith River - South

| | Fork is a splendid whitewater spot close by. Dead Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. Crescent City Travelodge is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Kings Valley Golf Course. is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dead Lake truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. During your spree to Dead Lake you'll meet some people from Crescent
City North for sure, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Smith River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Crescent City is a
fine choice; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the French Hill Trail. Dead Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Shangri-la Trailer Court is a great local campground, and nothing beats kicking back at
Pebble Beach. Redwood National and State Parks is a fine place right next door to Dead Lake, and going for a hike along the Paradise Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. For the period of the summertime
months at Dead Lake highs are regularly in the 60's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, typically in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Dead Lake.
