Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Willits is a nice site to spend a night or two, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Howard Lake. Throughout the summer here at Dead Cow Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Dead Cow Lake dipping down into the 30's through

| | winter nights. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A pleasant visit to Rodeo Valley is a great way to spend an afternoon, and Dead Cow Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Quail Meadows RV Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Lark Motel, and of course Alder Creek flows through this neighborhood. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Eel River; | |

there are other locations here than Dead Cow Lake, for example Grassy Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. Dead Cow Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here, and
July is the month with the least moisture. That right there is a heap of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. There's so much to do here at Dead Cow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Creekside
Cabins and RV Resort is a delightful spot for that, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Outlet Creek.
