After a long day outdoors Mammoth Mountain Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two; you're perhaps interested in lakes, Lake Catherine is one of those nearby. A fine close by hotel is Heidelberg Inn, and you can go for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail. High temperatures at Davis Lakes during the summer months are in the 90's.       Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Davis Lakes nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.
