There's nice hiking along the Sherwin Lakes Trail;  
   soar down the rapids of San Joaquin River - South Fork in a kayak.
Summertime highs at Davis Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Davis Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. You truly ought to fancy Davis Lake.
