    It's always fun to stop by Davis Lake. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Davis Lake; most of the rain falls throughout January, and July on the other hand is the driest. During the summer months highs here at Davis Lake get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Davis Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. But wait, there's more amusing  
   things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping at Voyager Rock Campground is always a glorious experience, and Davis Lake is not the only place nearby, Bonita Lake is a nearby lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lower Blayney Campground is a tremendous spot to do that; Kings River - Middle Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. Devils Postpile National Monument is a nice local destination here at Davis Lake, and at Davis Lake you
 
               can catch a glimpse of Fleming Mountain. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Davis Lake.
A visit to Red Mountain Basin revives the soul, and a good place for whitewater paddling is San Joaquin River - South Fork. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
