This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Tahoe Paradise Golf Course is in the neighborhood, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Charity Valley Trail. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of American River - South Fork, and there are plenty of folks from Gardnerville Ranchos here. Dardanelles Lake in       fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a great place to get some rest. Throughout the warm months at Dardanelles Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Dardanelles Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Big Meadow is a                  wonderful spot here at Dardanelles Lake, and a splendid nearby hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel. You truly have to adore the Northern Sierra Nevada. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dardanelles Lake has to offer, you can camp at Alpine Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Dardanelles Lake; Hawley Grade Trail is a delightful local trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Gotta ski! Kirkwood is a nice place to do that; do stop by Round Lake, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Sierra at Tahoe, and Lake Audrian is a nearby lake that you could pop by. There's whitewater on Mokelumne River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies; Dixon Canyon is in close proximity, and is a good location. Take a hike on the Burnside Lake Trail. There's so much to do here at Dardanelles Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Firs Campground is a great site for that.
