This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Red Mountain Trail; a great location to take a look at close by is Big Creek Canyon. At Dam Six Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Dam Six Lake. This | |

Dam Six Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Sierra Summit is a pleasant local ski area; a visit to Chawanakee Flats
invigorates the soul. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. It's a good idea to go to Big Creek, it's in the vicinity of Dam Six Lake; going for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of
this region.
A typical amount of rain falls here at Dam Six Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
