    Dale Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Cold Springs. Through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Dale Lake, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are  
   in the 40's, and overnight lows at Dale Lake through the winter ordinarily descend into the 20's. A typical amount of rain falls here at Dale Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture.
So many fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. There's so much to do here at Dale Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Voyager Rock Campground is a good location for that, and
 
               Red Mountain Basin is a beautiful place any time of year. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. A great location for whitewater paddling close to Dale Lake is San Joaquin River - South Fork. Sierra Summit has perfect slopes and a friendly staff; if you get bored of Dale Lake you could also explore nearby Big Shot Lake.
The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dale Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lower Blayney Campground, and here at Dale Lake you can make out Fleming Mountain.
