For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Dade Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. Gabbot Pass is a pleasant site to look at, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dade Lake; Sherwin Lakes Trail is a great local trail. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery       is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork, and dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Lakes Travelodge. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Mosquito Flat Campground, and float down the rapids of Mono Creek in a kayak. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You could also explore Treasure Lakes if you're here at Dade Lake; it's close by; why not take a refreshing                  hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail. At Dade Lake you don’t see much precipitation; through the month of January you get the most rain around here; June is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Inlet Campground is a great place to camp; the peak of Mount Abbot can be observed from Dade Lake. If you adore the outdoors, you'll fancy Dade Lake. The views at Devils Postpile National Monument will blow your mind; if you need a spot to stay Mammoth Creek Inn is a splendid choice.
