That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Cypress Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Cypress Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rocky Knoll Campground is a glorious location for that; Emerald Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cypress Lake has to offer, you can       camp at Silver Bowl Campground, and perfect hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16. At Cypress Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Cypress Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Bailey Creek Cottages, and there's fine hiking along the Lassen Trail.                  Cypress Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. At Cypress Lake you can make out North Caribou, and Lassen Volcanic National Park is a tremendous national park. While you're here at Cypress Lake, you could also stop by gorgeous Rim Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Rose Quartz Inn is a splendid site to spend a night or two.
