Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Barley Lake; a splendid place to camp here at Cushman Lake is Spruce Grove Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Klamath Mountains. This lake       is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Black Butte River, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Buttermilk Trail. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Eel River, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Smoke Howe Trail. Cushman Lake in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors                  paradise. Camping is available at Atchison Campground, and if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a pleasant sight of Bald Mountain from Cushman Lake.
