     Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Curtz Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Curtz Lake. What a location this is for outdoors people. Camping at Turtle Rock Campgrounds is always a great experience, and David Walley's Resort is a glorious place to get some rest.
Curtz Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. At Curtz Lake
 
   you always meet someone from Gardnerville Ranchos, and pretty scenery and glorious skiing is what you obtain at Kirkwood. This lake is so wonderful. This is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes. Summit Lake is a lake nearby, and Curtz Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Indian Creek Campground is a nice local campground.
Dry warm beds await you at Carson Valley Inn, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Burnside Lake Trail. This
 
               lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to Hot Springs Creek, and do take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. Curtz Lake is right by the Charity Valley Trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Heavenly is a wonderful site to do that.
Having a glorious time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is simple. Lakes are wonderful; Stevens Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Curtz Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Carson River - East Fork offers some great whitewater. Curtz Lake gets a great deal of water; January is the month that gets the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
