Curtz Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Curtz Lake is a place with many visitors from Gardnerville Ranchos, and you can go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. Why not camp at Turtle Rock Campgrounds since you're here at Curtz Lake, and close by you find the Burnside Lake Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Minden Inn is a pleasant choice.

| | Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Skiing at Kirkwood is one of those things you just should do, and there are other places here than Curtz Lake, for example Indian Creek Reservoir. Any time is a wonderful time at Curtz Lake if you go for the outdoors. Camping is available at Indian Creek Campground; going for a hike on the Charity Valley Trail is always a tremendous adventure.

The Northern Sierra Nevada rocks! You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Heavenly if you're here, and why not check out nearby Hot Springs Creek since you're here at Curtz Lake. All the water falling down from the
sky makes Curtz Lake a wet place; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is generally the driest month. During the summer at Curtz Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures
are in the 40's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 30's while Curtz Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Northern Sierra
Nevada has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge, and Carson River - East Fork is a nice whitewater spot close by.
