Curtis Lake gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Pacific Crest Trail - section 17 offers hiking at its best, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pit River. There's wonderful hiking along the Rough and Ready Trail, and don't leave Curtis Lake without first going for a hike along the Coal | |

Through the summertime months at Curtis Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, mostly
in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 40's; overnight lows through the winter for Curtis Lake tend to be in the 20's. Curtis Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range.
