Camping at Snag Lake Campground is always a glorious experience, and don't leave Cub Lake without first going for a hike along the Eureka Lake Trail. After a long day outdoors Chalet View Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two; get drenched paddling on Lavezzola Creek. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Cub Lake is not the only spot nearby, Silver Lake is a nearby lake, and don't leave Cub Lake without first paying

| | a visit to Fern Falls. Go for a hike on the Deer Lake Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Deer Creek Inn is a good choice. From a rainfall point of view Cub Lake is a rather common site; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A great sight of charming Mount Elwell is available from Cub Lake, and The Golf Club at Whitehawk Ranch is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. | |

A lake nearby is Little Bear Lake, and everyone loves Lakes Basin. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is bountiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Head up to Royal Gorge and strap some skis to your feet, and paddling on Yuba
River - North Fork is so much fun. Summertime highs at Cub Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; night lows
at Cub Lake during the wintertime generally descend into the 20's. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. And if
that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the vicinity of Cub Lake. A splendid place to camp here at Cub Lake is Upper Jamison Campground, and going for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15 is always a great adventure.
