Good hiking is available along the Bunchgrass Trail, and Rock Spring is a beautiful spot to explore while you're at Crystal Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Dusty Campground is a pleasant location to camp, and Lassen Volcanic National Park is a perfect spot close by. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Visit Rising River       since you're here at Crystal Lake. Lakes are delightful; Baum Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is a good spot of normal rainfall; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Pit River in a kayak, and not far from Crystal Lake you'll stumble on Rising River Lake which is a striking lake. Crystal Lake is a beautiful lake in the                  Southern Cascade Range. Through the long summer days, highs usually are in the 80's at Crystal Lake while night lows are typically in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Crystal Lake throughout the wintertime regularly sink into the 10's. Crystal Lake truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise.
