Crystal Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Dusty Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and there's some flowing water nearby, Rising River is a stream you can explore while here. Man, is there plenty of amusing stuff to do right next door to Crystal Lake. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Rising River Lake close to Crystal Lake. Summer at Crystal       Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crystal Lake. An average amount of precipitation falls at Crystal Lake; through December this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Southern Cascade Range. Visiting Lassen Volcanic National                  Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Bunchgrass Trail. Baum Lake is a splendid lake close to Crystal Lake; Cassel Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
