A visit to Crystal Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. There are pleasant locations to explore along the Big Valley Trail, and places like Lake Valley are fine to visit. Summertime highs at Crystal Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Crystal Lake temperatures sink to the

| | 20's. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly. At Crystal Lake you can see Cisco Butte, and after a long day outdoors Deer Creek Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a good time. Creek, and why not camp at Indian Springs Campground while you're here at Crystal Lake. The smiling folks of Truckee-Grass Valley like to hang out close by. If you came for an overnight stay Kelly Lake Campground is a brilliant
place to camp, and you can run the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail near Crystal Lake called the Grouse Ridge Trail, and a day on the slopes of Soda Springs is just what
you need. Crystal Lake gets a good deal of water; January is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Crystal Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise.
A good place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Crystal Lake is Fordyce Creek; going for a hike on the Mears Lake Valley Trail is always a good adventure. Crystal Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
