Crystal Lake is not far at all from Napa; if you came for an overnight stay Spanish Flat Resort is a delightful spot to camp. From a precipitation point of view Crystal Lake is a rather common spot; the month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's whitewater on Napa River for all you adrenaline rush       seekers; getting to Middle Creek from Crystal Lake is simple. Nearby Capell Valley is a pleasant place to go if you're at Crystal Lake, and a pleasant trip to Adams Flat is a good way to spend an afternoon. A brilliant close by hotel is Yountville Inn, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Putah Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Rancho Monticello Resort is a glorious campground here, and Atlas Peak can be seen from Crystal Lake. At Crystal                  Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's, and night lows throughout the winter for Crystal Lake tend to be in the 30's. What a location this is for outdoors folks.
