This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Blue Lake; if you need a location to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a magnificent choice. A delightful close by hotel is Heidelberg Inn, and Dore Pass is a great location to stop by. Stay the night at Sawmill Campground; you can go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12. Paddling on Tenaya Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. June Mountain has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff, and

| | don't leave Crystal Lake without first going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Crystal Lake. The peak of Gilcrest Peak can be distinguished from Crystal Lake, and going for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always a great adventure. High temperatures at Crystal Lake all through the summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's. | |

High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Crystal Lake. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Central
Sierra Nevada. A quick trip to South Fork Mill Creek close to Crystal Lake is a great idea, and Dore Cliff is an attention-grabbing thing to make out if you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada.
You could also visit Oneida Lake since you're here at Crystal Lake; it's close by; Saddlebag Campground is a great campground nearby. Crystal Lake is a location that is rather dry regularly; January is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month of the year is October.
