The beauty of Crystal Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Crystal Lake without first checking out Dore Cliff, and you can run the rapids of Tenaya Creek. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. At Crystal Lake you can distinguish Gilcrest Peak, and Crystal Lake is a wonderful site to camp, Sawmill Campground is a wonderful site. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Crystal Lake

| | called the John Muir Trail - section 2, and the skiing at June Mountain is perfect. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. On a magnificent day at Crystal Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12; after a long day outdoors Best Western Ruby Inn is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. nearby. At Crystal Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most while October is usually the driest month. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy
all the enjoyable things in the Central Sierra Nevada. If the weather is great here at Crystal Lake, you can go for a hike along the Gaylor Lakes Trail, and camping at Crystal Lake is wonderful fun, Saddlebag Campground is a wonderful
local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Yosemite Gateway Motel is a good place to get some rest, and why not a little side journey to South Fork Mill Creek. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs typically are in
the 80's at Crystal Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Crystal Lake tend to be in the 0's. Crystal Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada.
